Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Providing 24/7 on-call and office, hours on-site administration and operational support for all network related issues.
• Strong knowledge of network routing protocol such as BGP, OSPF.
• Ensuring all network support services are delivered within service level agreements.
• Responsible for network design and implementation.
• Managing of Cisco router, Arista/Huawei wireless controller, access point , firewalls, SASE Cloud.
• Perform system hardening and patch deployment.
• Work on network related budget and workplan.
• Management of network related contracts.
• Explore new technology that could improve the workflow.
• Automation of the network work process to enhance operation efficiency.
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution, debugging network-related problem.
• Ability to self-manage projects and provide timely update on progress.
• Understand latest network/security threats and issues and mitigation solutions.
• Network incident management.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing.
• Work on any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the management.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Skills:
  • Hands-on configuration skill for different brands of firewall.
  • Network architecture: LAN, WAN, WIFI.
  • Network management: monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization.
  • Time management: Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines.
  • Language Skill: Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Years of Relevant Experience: 
  • 2-3 years of established experience in a Network Architect role or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing complexity network, knowledge of network routing protocol like BGP, OSPF.
• Education Qualification(s):
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP ,PCNSE.
  • Cloud relevant certificate.
