Job Summary
The Head – IT Operations is responsible to lead IT Operations Department, consisting of the Cloud, Infrastructure, NAC and Operations Teams. Focused on managing the operation, delivery and continuous improvement of common services across the Group, ensuring that the services are fit for purpose and are delivered to the Group in line with agreed SLAs, schedules and budget.
As a member of the Technology Leadership Team, the IT Operations Head will contribute to the development of the Technology Strategy, IT / Cyber Security Strategy and Business Plan and will be accountable for the execution.
Job Responsibilities
Financial
Strong project and IT service management skills to ensure the overall strategy focus and execution of the Technology Strategy.
Customer
- Responsible for the operations, maintenance, efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Operations services meeting the demands of the businesses and the whole NTT Data Payment Services business.
- Accountable for the operation & support of the IT Operations services according to the agreed SLAs, costs and schedules.
- Accountable for resolution of all issues and problems related to the IT Operations services, meeting SLAs and KPIs in all severities and priorities.
Internal Processes
Accountable for:-
- To contend with major incidents and situations that need to be handled immediately and resolutely.
- The ever greening, service improvement, demand management, change management, benchmarking, reporting, etc of the IT Operations services.
- The development of upgrades and enhancements to the existing service and development of new services to meet business demands.
- The implementation and conformance to security and audit principles and best practice processes.
- The continued development and improvement of service delivery process used in the IT Operations.
- Assist in any ad-hoc assignment when is required by immediate superior.
Learning & Growth
The motivation and development of IT Operations Staff to meet competency targets, covering personal development, technical development, coaching, succession planning, etc.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess a minimum fifteen (15) years of working experience in Financial Institution/FinTech, IT Technical, Operational or service management roles, with wide and in-depth exposure to Payment and IT processes.
- Candidate must have AWS or equivalent cloud leadership experience.\
- Preferable candidate with minimum of ten (10) years of experience in leading and managing teams of at least 20 employees.
- Excellence leadership and management skills.
- Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
- Working location: Kuala Lumpur.
Education / Certification Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Computer Science or any discipline with related field.
- Candidate with Cloud / ITIL / TOGAF Certification is an added advantage.
